What We Do:

The purpose of The Taylor Mizell Foundation:

• To promote advocacy and education in seeking to find a cure for childhood cancer.

Services Provided
The proposed goal for the Taylor Mizell foundation is to help benefit children with cancer and their families by raising funds to help them withstand financial hardships that occur when a child is diagnosed with cancer. These funds will consist of donations and annual fundraisers.

Numerous services will be provided by the Taylor Mizell foundation.  A family must fill out an application and submit a letter from the child’s physician with diagnosis and treatment plans.  This will be presented to the board of directors and a decision will be made as to what services are needed. Services will be based on each family’s individual needs. The services provided by the Taylor Mizell foundation will include: transportation fund, household expense fund, parent support kit, the Taylor Mizell foundation award, bereavement fund, special events and other organized activities.

Special events & other organized activities - this fund will provide: family night out, dinner for family, complimentary movie tickets, bowling, etc., a birthday gift - age appropriate for child in treatment.

It is the intent of the Taylor Mizell foundation to provide these services in hope of easing the financial burden, so families can focus on caring for their child.  We are committed to raising awareness and helping find a cure for childhood cancer.
